Arrival to Baku, meet and greet at the airport then Transfer to the hotel for check in.

Icheri Sheher (Old City) a unique historical and architectural conservation area at the center of Baku. The Maiden Tower (12th century) and the Shirvanshah palace (the 13th-16th century) are well-known historical monuments in the Old City, apart from that there are lots of other unique monuments of Icheri Sheher: The Mosque, “Bukhara” classic baths and Minarets Old Caravanserais “Multani”. There are a lot of souvenir shops where you can buy national cloths, kerchiefs, scarves and caps, local dishes and handmade carpets.

Go for a walk along the Boulevard Park in Nizami street (antiquated trading zone with lots of shops and boutiques), Fountain Square.

The national museum in an open air ancient images on the walls, caves, rocks and boulders. There are approximately 6000 drawings in Gobustan – petroglyphs illustrating people and animals. Visiting Gobustan state Historical – Artistic Museum array with innovative technology , touch screens provided with special multimedia programs, educational and engaging games, interactive displays, 3D video and others.

Visiting Mud Volcanoes: Azerbaijan is the first most number of mud volcanoes in the world. There are 350 out of 800 mud volcanoes in the world located here. The mud volcanoes of Azerbaijan occupied the 5th place in the international contest of  “Seven natural Wonders”, and on September 1, 2004 the largest mud volcano of the world  located in Azerbaijan was registered in the Guinness Book of Records.

Visiting Bibi Heybat Mosque: The Bibi-Heybat Mosque includes the shrine of Ukeyma Khanum  (descendant of the Prophet Muhammad SAWS), and today is the spiritual center for the Muslims of the region and one of the major monuments of Islamic architecture in Azerbaijan.

The surface of the Towers is fully covered with LED screens which demonstrate different visual characters in motion, easily visible from the far corners of the city.

Visiting the Azerbaijan’s historical ethnographic reserve- the Ancient Village Gala. Covering an area of 156 hectares, the preserve contains burial mounds, crypts, dwelling houses as well as 4 storage pools, ruins of an ancient palace, 5 mosque and 3 bath-houses dating back to a period between 3^rd Millennium BC and 20^th century.

Lunch time.

Visiting an ancient Zoroastrian temple of flame – Ateshgah. The temple ages back to the 17-18^th century and was built by Indian fire-worshipers’ community in Baku. Visiting Yanardag (literally “burning mountain) to observe natural burning flame outlets at the surface. The hill side is covered with flame and is better viewed at night times.

Return to hotel. Free time.

Visiting The Museum of Carpets & Applied Art. The Museum possesses one of the best collections of local and Persian carpets. It has a brilliant display of woven and knotted Azerbaijan carpets, plus jewelry, embroidery, metal work and carved wood.

Visiting “Azerilme” Carpet Center Workshop where you will be taken to carpet workshops using ancient technique of carpet weaving. You’ll see the process of the carpets birth
